PDP ruling Nigeria again is a grandiose delusion, not a dream. No one in control of their mental faculties will vote for the same PDP which allowed Boko Haram to kill 20,000 Nigerians and control 18 of our LGAs. No sane Nigerian will ever again support a PDP whose oil minister stole public funds to pay for a $40 million yacht and skyscrapers and mansions in Abuja, Lagos, London and New York. So many PDP heavyweights have hailed from Adamawa, including VP Atiku Abubakar; OBJ's right-hand man Senator Jibril Aminu; PDP Chairman Bamanga Tukur; GEJ's PPS Hassan Tukur; Education Minister and former AD Governor Boni Haruna; Women Affairs Minister Zainab Maina; Presidential SA Ahmed Gulak; Chief of Defence Staff Alex Badeh, etc.

Dr Nura Alkaki Replies PDP National Chairman. H.E. Alhaji Ahmed Makarfi PDP National Chairman Wadata Plaza, Abuja Sir, In a recent press interview, you claimed that PDP will retake the presidency in 2019, and three factors will help achieve that dream: APC's alleged failures; PDP's apology to Nigerians; and your success at wooing "APC heavyweights". Sir, this is my reply. I have a right of reply since I'm a Nigerian to whom PDP has supposedly apologized, and I'll vote in 2019, God-willing. Yes, a few among the mentally-retarded still love PDP, but out of self-aggr...

For those who have been asking genuinely "Who's this Ayo Salami?". I want to help them out. Justice Ayo Isa Salami was the President of Court of Appeal who, for the first time in our rigging history, along with other Justices, removed some Govenors who were brought in by PDP Political Rigging Machine. This restored the mandates of Adams Oshiomole, Segun Mimiko, Kayode Fayemi and Rauf Aregbesola.

This restored the mandates of Adams Oshiomole, Segun Mimiko, Kayode Fayemi and Rauf Aregbesola. Obviously, this made the PDP ran mad!!!! There was no member of the PDP that didn't run mad, from head to bottom!!!! They were boasting that Salami will be dealt with. Immediately, they RESTRUCTURED the Governorship tribunal cases which ought to be ending at the court of appeal, their NASS quickly shifted it to the Supreme Court. PDP know how to CHANGE laws that they don't like but when it comes to CONFAB Report, they kept it under the bed for nine months and after losing power, they started crying foul!!! Typical of those idiots! Of course, by extending the appeal to t...

Cristiano Ronaldo's tax case very different to Lionel Messi's - lawyer

Image
Cristiano Ronaldo's lawyer Julio Senn says that the Real Madrid forward's current tax compliance issues are different to those which saw Barcelona's Lionel Messi plead guilty to fraud and receive a suspended jail sentence.  Ronaldo is due in court in Madrid on July 31 to answer charges brought by prosecutors at Spain's "Hacienda" tax authority, who say that he used a network of offshore companies to avoid paying at least €14.7 million in tax due on "image rights" income. Messi was found guilty of tax fraud in July 2016 in another case centred around image rights income being sent abroad. He was sentenced to 21 months in prison and fined €3.6m on top of a minimum amount of €10m his family paid in back taxes and charges to Hacienda. Ronaldo's camp have maintained that he is innocent of any wrongdoing, even as experts with knowledge of the case claim that unless he "regularises" his situation by paying about €50m there is a seri...

Real Madrid remain unable to come to an agreement with Real Betis over the payment of midfielder Dani Ceballos's transfer fee.

Real Madrid remain unable to come to an agreement with Real Betis over the payment of midfielder Dani Ceballos's transfer fee. Betis want the full amount up front, while Real's stance is that they are due concessions over the payment process given that they are preparing to part with a figure higher than the 15m-euro price in the player's buy-out clause. Ceballos has agreed personal terms with Real and has completed a medical, with the 20-year-old expected to be unveiled on 20 July before joining up with the team's US tour the following day. However, the move is not thought to be in any danger of falling through. If negotiations between the LaLiga clubs fail, Madrid still have the option of unilaterally activating the Spain Under-21 star's release clause. Source: Diario

I'm a middle-aged, white Scottish man who converted to Islam without ever meeting a Muslim.

I'm a middle-aged, white Scottish man who converted to Islam without ever meeting a Muslim. It's important to remember the distinction between written Islamic teachings and culture in the real world. After 18 months, I went to my first mosque and met other Muslims properly for the first time. How does a middle-aged, white Scottish man living in the Scottish Highlands end up becoming a Muslim - especially when he hasn't properly met a Muslim in his life? For me, it all started when I heard the call to prayer from a local mosque while on a beach holiday in Turkey. It woke something up inside me, and inspired me to begin a spiritual quest. Back home in Inverness, I went to the local bookshop, bought a Qur'an and started to read. While reading, I always asked God to guide me on the journey I had set out on. A lot of praying. A lot of time on my knees. The Qur'an really shook me. It's quite a scary book to read because it tells you so much about yourself. ...

Olisa Agbakoba Speaks On 2014 National Conference.

Image
Olisa Agbakoba Speaks On 2014 National Conference. “You were a delegate to the 2014 National Conference. Do you think there is something in that report that can benefit this country if considered and implemented?” Olisa Agbakoba was asked by his interviewer He said; “We have been having national conferences going back to the time of Ibrahim Babangida, Sani Abacha, and (Olusegun) Obasanjo. They didn’t create the conferences in order to promote the interest of Nigeria. They created the conferences for their own personal interests. IBB created it to find a way to become a civilian leader – it crashed. Abacha created it in order to become a civilian leader – he died. Obasanjo created his own in order to become a third-term leader – he failed. Goodluck Jonathan created his own in order to have a seven-year tenure and to avoid election – he failed. So, why should I recommend any of such reports?”. Punch July 9, 2017.

INEC RECS: SENATE WILL REGRET ITS DECISION TO THREATEN BUHARI :– SAGAY The Chairman, Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption, Prof. Itse Sagay (SAN) has described the decision of the Senate to suspend the confirmation of RECs of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as childish. The Senate had on Tuesday abandoned the confirmation to protest the retention of Ibrahim Magu as acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over Buhari’s insistence to keep Magu. Sagay said President Muhammadu Buhari cannot be threatened by the Senate. He said, “That action is childish and irresponsible. Do they think Buhari is a man that can easily be threatened? My God! How can people of such character occupy the highest legislative office in the country? Nigeria is finished. “It is a great mistake and they will regret it.” He added that the President could continue to appoint people in acting capacity when necessary. Sagay added, “Where the Senate ...

Buhari’s former physician speaks: We should be patient with president’s health – Prof Wali

Image
Daily Trust: People remember you more as a former chief physician to five ex-heads of state. How did you begin your medical career? Professor Sadiq Suleiman Wali: I did my post-graduate studies in the United Kingdom and qualified as a physician. I came back to Kano State and served for about three years. I preferred academic work, so I went to Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria. Kano State offered me, or rather, forced me to come and be their Commissioner for Health during the administration of Alhaji Abubakar Rimi, instead of being the physician to then-President Shehu Shagari, who then picked Dr. Dalhatu Sarki Tafida, my classmate. DT: How did you become the personal physician to former Head of State General Muhammadu Buhari? Professor Wali: General Muhammadu Buhari requested that I should be his physician and I knew him very well, personally, because we were in Lagos during the January 1966 coup. Murtala, Gowon, Buhari were all around and that was how we got to know each othe...

Why AMCON Took Over Arik Air Management

Image
Why AMCON Took Over Arik Air Management The Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) has advanced reasons for the takeover of the management of Arik Airline. The corporation announced the takeover of the airline on Thursday and appointed Roy Ilegbodu to manage the airline under the receivership of Oluseye Opasanya (SAN). According to AMCON, Arik Air, which is Nigeria’s largest carrier has a debt of more than N300bn and that a large part of it is taxpayers’ funds., in a statement on Thursday. Another reason for the intervention is “to enable Arik return to regular, undisrupted operations; to avoid job losses; to protect investors and stakeholder funds; to rebuild the credibility of the Airline and its brand; to ensure sure safety and stability in Nigeria’s already challenged aviation sector”. The corporation said it took over Arik’s non-performing loans – running into billions of naira – a few years ago, in exchange for a stake in the airline. A breakdown of the statement ...

Image
Why should I blame Buhari? Pastor Adelaja tells who is responsible for Nigeria's economic recession. Popular Nigerian preacher, Pastor Sunday Adelaja who is the founder and senior pastor of the Embassy of God, an evangelical-charismatic megachurch in Kiev, Ukraine, has said he is not joining others to blame President Muhammadu Buhari for the economic recession because he is smarter than that and makes use of his brain. He wondered why he should blame the Buhari-led administration for Nigeria’s problems when it is evil people that crippling the economy. Adelaja said: “If the opposition or some evil people are going to blow up the resource of the country, if they are going to blow up the economic engine of the country, they are cutting off 40% of the income of the country, how will I support them, how will I blame the government for that. I will rather blame the evil people who are doing that for that." He blamed the Avengers, former Niger Delta militants and pro-Bia...
