So many PDP heavyweights have hailed from Adamawa, including VP Atiku Abubakar; OBJ's right-hand man Senator Jibril Aminu; PDP Chairman Bamanga Tukur; GEJ's PPS Hassan Tukur; Education Minister and former AD Governor Boni Haruna; Women Affairs Minister Zainab Maina; Presidential SA Ahmed Gulak; Chief of Defence Staff Alex Badeh, etc.

Sir, In a recent press interview, you claimed that PDP will retake the presidency in 2019, and three factors will help achieve that dream: APC's alleged failures; PDP's apology to Nigerians; and your success at wooing "APC heavyweights". Sir, this is my reply. I have a right of reply since I'm a Nigerian to whom PDP has supposedly apologized, and I'll vote in 2019, God-willing. Yes, a few among the mentally-retarded still love PDP, but out of self-aggrandizement or self-hatred, not political conviction. Fortunately, a larger section of Nigerians are in full control of their mental faculties. Since majority opinion makes a democracy, those sane Nigerians - a group to which I proudly belong - will always have their say. And we see APC as daylight and PDP as utter darkness in the foreseeable future. The Gombe-Yola Road will illustrate my point better. I drove on the road today and stopped to inquire after noticing road-workers surveying the road. Lo and Behold, they were engineers with the Chinese construction company CGC which the FGN has contracted to reconstruct the 48-Km death-trap between Cham in Gombe State and Numan in Adamawa State. So many PDP heavyweights have hailed from Adamawa, including VP Atiku Abubakar; OBJ's right-hand man Senator Jibril Aminu; PDP Chairman Bamanga Tukur; GEJ's PPS Hassan Tukur; Education Minister and former AD Governor Boni Haruna; Women Affairs Minister Zainab Maina; Presidential SA Ahmed Gulak; Chief of Defence Staff Alex Badeh, etc. Yet, the only road linking Adamawa to Kano, Abuja and beyond remained a death-trap for 16 years until APC that is only 2 years in power came to our aid. Those PDP heavyweights didn't care because they traveled by air. But I ply that road twice a month and have twice changed my car's shock-absorbers and tires in just the past 18 months. And you think an apology makes a difference? Will it pay my bills or repair this lorry which tipped over while avoiding potholes before it was raised by a Dangote truck? Will it reincarnate the 20,000 Nigerians killed by BH? Trust me, Alhaji Makarfi, I'd poison PDP to death just to rid Nigeria of evil. Thankfully, PDP is already dead and needs no killing. Extra-Judicial Killings in Abuja, Benin: ASP kills senator's son.                         The Force Criminal  Investigations Department (FCID) of the Nigerian Police force has arrested and detained an Assistant Superintendent of Police, ASP, and six other Police officers over allegations of extra-judicial killings in separate incidents that occurred in Abuja and Benin, the Edo State capital.
