The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, on Thursday said the North would not allow its past leaders, especially those killed in 1966 coup, to be abused and denigrated . The emir, whose position was corroborated by the 19 Northern governors, issued the warning at the 50th anniversary of the commemoration of the assassination of the Premier of defunct Northern Region, Ahmadu Bello, held at Arewa House, Kaduna.
