#Dasukigate: Jonathan's AGF Refunds N1b As Army Gen. Weeps At Panel, You'll Be Shocked Why An ex-Accountant General of the Federation under former President Goodluck Jonathan has reportedly refunded the sum of N1 billion he got from the controversial $2.1 billion arms procurement funds being investigated. According to New Telegraph, sources close to the arms panel told our correspondent that what put the former AGF into trouble was payments made to him from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) office while he was in office. A source said: “You know, when you are in office as he was, there are certain things you cannot run away from. The money in question was given to him as a thank-you gift. But you also know that it is difficult to deny receipt of such gifts. The records are there. So, when the panel called on him upon discovery, he had no option than to return whatever he took.” The source said that for now, it was not clear if the former AGF would be pro...

NEW ACT OF CRIMINALS IN NIGERIA!!!

Image
NEW ACT OF CRIMINALS IN NIGERIA!!! Important warning news for Nigerians Armed robbery has taken a new dimension in Nigeria especially Lagos given the abundant ATMs in Lagos. Armed robbers now visit ATMs on Friday evenings so as to forcefully collect the ATM cards and PIN codes of customers. They approach you with a smile while you are attempting to make a transaction, display their guns and also point to their colleagues around in case you attempt to play smart by refusing or screaming. They then collect your ATM cards and ask for your PIN codes. They confirm the PIN there to know if it’s fake. Their intention is to withdraw at least the Bank ATM withdrawal limit of N100,000 daily between that Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They do this criminal act on Friday evenings when they know Banks had closed for the day and are on weekend break. They know majority of Nigerians don’t have the phone numbers of their Account Officers or any staff in their bank and as such can...

I have served Nigeria with.....

"I have served Nigeria with everything I have and I have not taken what I did not earn. If anyone has evidence that proves otherwise, I challenge them to present it. Many l have been circulated about my person but like I always say, while they continue to lie, we shall continue to reinforce the truth."........... President Muhammadu Buhari God bless our President

And these times I am nostalgic about Buhari military era.

And these times I am nostalgic about Buhari military era. Those days when hoarders thought twice before warehousing essential commodities, petrol profiteers disappeared, bent preachers zipped up their foul mouthes and corrupt political activists refrained from inciting comments. Heck!, the environment was so clean you can smell the roses from afar. Yes, it was military dictatorship then, and an aberration. But what do you call this democracy where people are killed at will because murderous pastors, governors and political jobbers incite their supporters to go on rampage? What do you call this democracy where judges protect the powerful and jail the chicken thief? You call this democracy an avenue for equal opportunities when however those in power looted billions of dollars and left 99% of our 170million poorer? What democracy are we talking about that gives absolute freedom to charlatans, evildoers and thieves to enjoy their day at the office?

A FOOD FOR THOUGHT !

Image
A FOOD FOR THOUGHT ! you don't need civic education to realise that it's dumb to stand with an already elected politician who has civil service,a political party,a battalion of fawning aides,a cabinet, the police, the army, the air force, the civil defence corps, and whatnots at his back and call. you don't need to stand with the most powerful man in the country, somebody from whom over 180million citizens expect strength, through his decisions to stand strong. president muhammadu buhari was elected to stand with us,by creating jobs, stabilising the crumbling economy, minimising power outrages (as stability is a mirage),rehabilitating vast network of roads, equipping our hospitals, reviving our ineffective and dysfunctional institutions amongst others...

Finally, the wait is over. We have our Budget. Our Budget of Change. Nigerians will undoubtedly begin to see the delivery of Change.

Finally, the wait is over. We have our Budget. Our Budget of Change. Nigerians will undoubtedly begin to see the delivery of Change. The  promised 10 thousand Police recruitment, has commenced the unleashing of good things to come. More men on the beat to boost our police force and strengthen Police manpower. Change is doing things differently, Change is due process. Change is allowing proper scrutiny of the Budget without the usual Ghana Must Go that characterised the previous administration. Passing of the Budget of Change and the subsequent implementation will kick start the economic growth and address the the challenges in the country. We can be rest assured that better days are ahead despite the current difficulties facing the country. With planned infrastructural development and investment in agriculture, the outlook is bright. These will create employment opportunities for skilled and unskilled labour, which would put much needed monies into the pockets of Nigerians to p...

Muhammadu Buhari: 'I haven't failed' against Boko Haram

Image
Muhammadu Buhari: 'I haven't failed' against Boko Haram Nigeria's president discusses the country's economic crisis and his fight against Boko Haram and corruption. Nine months after he came to power, Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari received an official welcome from Qatar's Emir on Buhari's latest trip of many to boost Nigeria's standing abroad. The Nigerian president is seeking support for his crackdown on corruption and to encourage much-needed investment in his country's ailing economy. Qatar is the current president of Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and Nigeria is Africa's largest oil producer. The low oil price has a devastating impact on the Nigerian economy, which has long depended on the export of oil. "We were unable to diversify our economy, hence we are much more disadvantaged by the lower oil prices," Buhari says. Buhari tells us he values the institution of OPEC and that "Nigeria wi...

Angry elites are sabotaging the moves by President Muhammadu Buhari’s to turn around the country’s economy from the mess entrenched by previous administrations, the Senate Leader Ali Ndume has said. Speaking on the economic downturn in the country, he said the elites are angry with the war against corruption embarked upon by the Buhari’s administration. He also said the elites should be blamed for the hardship Nigerians are facing especially as its concern the rising prices of food stuffs. According to him, the elites are deliberately sabotaging the Buhari’s administration in order to make the All Progressives Congress (APC) government unpopular. Ndume said this group of people benefited immensely in the 16 years administration of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). “If not for the saboteurs, Nigerians would have been reaping the dividend of electing President Buhari.  Otherwise, what has the fall of naira to do with the price of millet, tomatoes ...
